The atmosphere was alright and good service. They have limited dietary restrictions. You have to request for gluten free. Overall I will come back. Those who are gluten sensitive or has celiac don’t through caution to the winds unless you have something that will assist with pain. I had grill fish and tried chips. (I think chips are cooked in the same oil as things with gluten). I will still go back for the fish. I don’t blame them for my issues.

The food was fresh AF, the staff were friendly and cracking jokes, chips were crispy, the fish was wonderfully flaky and tasty as, and the old style potato scallops were the best I’ve ever had. We were definitely impressed by these good old fashioned fish and chips.
Also they’re right next to a fish monger so you know it’s all quality as!

Always come here when I am in the bay and it is always worth it. Quick service, great choice of seafood and amazing potato scallops. Have driven an hour and a half just to eat the potato scallops they are that good.

Fish and Chips are definitely delicious. No wonder it's called 'Famous'. Atmosphere is nice since it's near the sea. Lots of birds too.

Two of us ordered scallops for one person and special lobster tails. It wasn't as bad as some comments suggested. They even went the extra mile by offering an additional oyster when the portion for the special dish was smaller than expected. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our tea time experience
